High heels are also known as height of fashion.  High-heeled shoes are shoes which raise the heel of the wearer's foot significantly higher than the toes. When both the heel and the toes are raised equal amounts, as in a platform shoe, it is generally not considered to be a "high-heel". This tends to give the illusion of longer and more slender legs. High-heels come in a wide variety of styles, and the heels are found in many different shapes, including stiletto, pump, block, tapered, blade, and wedge.  While high heels today are mostly associated with female shoe styles, and the term high heeled shoe is generally understood to refer to styles of footwear almost exclusively worn by women, there are numerous shoe designs worn by both genders which have elevated heels, including cowboy boots and . According to high fashion shoe websites like Jimmy Coho and Gucci, a "low heel" is considered less than 6 centimeters (2.5 inches), while 6 centimeters to 8.5 centimeters (3.5 inches) heels are considered "mid heels," and anything over 8.5 centimeters is considered a "high heel".


Some women love high heels and other women hate them. But I believe that most of us fall somewhere in the middle, having a love/hate relationship with high heeled shoes -- we know how painful they can be, but we can't resist the call of a pretty pair of pumps, even if they do have horrible, horrible five-inch heels.  There are five things to love about high heels. 1) High heels make you taller. 2) High heels do not make you look fat. 3) High heels can make an outfit. 4) High heel s makes you feel and look sexy. 5) High heels do not have to cost a fortune. High heels are every woman's favorite style of shoe and are excellent for accentuating your figure.



There are five types of high heels are mostly used by the women s are stiletto, peep toe, wedges, platforms, sandals etc. If your workplace has a specific office dress code, you should carefully consider the height of the heel of the shoes you are going to be wearing to work every day. It is traditionally accepted that a heel lower than three inches is an appropriate standard in the professional office world. Many women employed in the business world that is ruled by specific dress codes have stated their opinions about the height of the heels they are wearing to work.
